For Free, MediaRich® Visualizer for SharePoint provides instant visual enhancements to any SharePoint deployment as well as high-volume media processing and distribution. Visualizer brings higher levels of functionality and visual imaging capabilities to all SharePoint licensees.
In fact, using MediaRich Visualizer you can leverage Windows SharePoint Services (3.0) to create a basic Data Asset Managment system.
MediaRich Visualizer automatically creates thumbnails for all Microsoft Office, PDF, images and videos in SharePoint.
