DeBabelizer provides many features to streamline and automate your workflow.

You can create a script by entering operations in the script window; use DeBabelizer's WatchMe to "watch" operations performed by the user and enter them into a script automatically or drag entries from the log file into the script. These simple methods make our scripting is powerful and easy to use, with no scripting language to learn and no complicated, unreliable macros to create.

BatchLists are a powerful asset-management tool, allowing you to group files and perform operations on them. You can create BatchLists using the Add Files dialog, or by dragging files or folders onto the BatchList window. You can use the BatchList to preview files and sort them by a number of criteria, as well as to create animations, videos, and SuperPalettes. The BatchList also provides a context for script execution, locating thousands of files for batch processing.

Drag and Drop Batch Lists

Drag files or folders onto the BatchList window to easily create BatchLists.

HTML Parsing

Drag a URL to a batchlist window and automatically add all images on the web page to a batchlist.

Drag and Drop Scripting

Drag log entries to the script window. You can also drag lines of script between scripts.

Log/Record/WatchMe Script Creation

The WatchMe feature enables you to add operation items to an open script as you execute them in the workspace. When you activate the WatchMe option for an active script, DeBabelizer Pro records all of your actions to the open script document.

WatchMe – automatically creates a script as you work on an image

Script Result Previews (Mac)

See the results of each line of script in the preview window.

Conditional Scripting

In DeBabelizer you can set up conditional operations. By specifying the criteria, you can tell DeBabelizer under what conditions it should apply the operation to the active image. Conditional statements add flexibility to your scripting, enabling you to vary the process based on the contents of the active file.

Conditional Scripting Results – The height of the sample image is greater than the width so DeBabelizer rotates the image.

Hot Folders

This feature allows you to designate a folder on your system as a "watched" or hot folder. DeBabelizer Pro continuously monitors the specified folder(s) for new files until the user cancels the operation. When a new file appears in the folder, DeBabelizer automatically applies the script.

DeBabelizer can also acquire images from digital cameras and scanners place them in a Hot Folder and process them automatically.

Save to Web Catalog

Save time by using the Save to HTML Catalog process to automatically create HTML pages with thumbnails linking to each image.

ActionArrowsTM

DeBabelizers unique ActionArrows enables you to easily apply edits and effects, like palettes or scripts on an image, from one document to another faster processing by simply dragging an arrow from one window to another.

ProScriptsTM Sample Scripts

The ProScripts Wizards are essentially Batch Automation taken one step further. This type of automation provides a simple way to execute and/or generate a script of specific operations and settings designed to output a number of commonly used graphic types.

Image Previewer (Mac)

Many users find it useful to preview a file before opening it to ensure that it is the correct file or to help find a file. The image displayed in the DeBabelizer previewer is the actual image and not a thumbnail or auxiliary copy of the image.

Global Log (Win)

The Global Log stores information about executed operations, including error information.
